Edmonton, Alberta, Canada … Auditor General Doug Wylie will release a Report of the Auditor General—March 2024 following its tabling in the Legislative Assembly on the afternoon of Tuesday, March 19, 2024.

The report is expected to be tabled by the Chair of the Standing Committee on Legislative Offices around 3 p.m. at which time the report will be available online at oag.ab.ca.

Report on Post-secondary Institutions 2023

This report compiles the status of recommendations from our 2023 financial statement audits of post-secondary institutions. It also includes a report card on each institution’s financial reporting processes and internal controls with comparative assessments from our 2022 and 2021 audits.

Assessments of Implementation

For-profit and Cost Recovery Ventures at Post-secondary Institutions (Advanced Education)
We completed our assessment of implementation of the recommendations from our October 2015 audit of For-profit and Cost Recovery Ventures at Post-secondary Institutions.

Chronic Disease Management (Health and Alberta Health Services)
We completed our assessment of implementation of the recommendations from our September 2014 audit of Chronic Disease Management.

Income Support for Albertans (Seniors, Community and Social Services)
We completed our assessment of implementation of the recommendations from our December 2019 audit of Income Support for Albertans.
