Reporting the Status of Recommendations
In our financial statement and performance audits, we issue recommendations to improve the economy, efficiency, and effectiveness of government. All recommendations require a formal public response from government.
We track, assess, and report on the status of all recommendations we make to government. This report lists recommendations we have made over the years but which audit entities—government ministries; agencies, boards, and commissions; and government-managed funds—have not yet implemented.
As of November 2020, there are 138 recommendations.
