Summary

In September 2021, we completed our assessment of implementation from our 2015 audit of Alberta Health and Alberta Health Services’ Systems to Manage the Delivery of Mental-Health Services. We found that the four recommendations have been implemented:

Alberta Health

  • IMPLEMENTED Recommendation: Use action plan and progress reporting to implement strategy

Alberta Health Services

  • IMPLEMENTED Recommendation: Integrate mental-health service delivery and eliminate gaps in service
  • IMPLEMENTED Recommendation: Improve information management in mental health and addictions
  • IMPLEMENTED Recommendation: Complete assessment and develop waitlist for Albertans who need community housing supports
