Edmonton, Alberta, Canada—Auditor General Phil Peters is scheduled to release the following Reports of the Auditor General on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.
- Critical Worker Benefit Program Assessment of Implementation (Jobs, Economy, Trade and Immigration)
The Auditor General completed an assessment of implementation of a recommendation from a March 2023 audit to examine whether the department had effective systems to design, deliver, monitor and report on the Critical Worker Benefit Program.
- Indigenous Economic Participation Assessment of Implementation (Indigenous Relations)
The Auditor General completed an assessment of implementation of a recommendation from a May 2022 audit to examine whether the department had effective processes to assess and report on the results of its programs to support increased participation of Indigenous Peoples in Alberta’s economy.
